Mia M. Singh, Esq. is an accomplished attorney with over two decades of experience representing clients across a broad spectrum of legal disciplines. The daughter of parents who served in the diplomatic corps, Mia was raised in an international environment - living in Guyana, China, and England before the age of ten - which gives her a global perspective and the ability to work with clients from all backgrounds. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Politics from New York University in 1995 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 1998.

Since beginning her legal career in 1999, Mia has practiced in criminal, civil, state, and federal courts throughout Florida. She began her legal career at the Broward County Public Defender’s Office, where she developed substantial litigation and trial experience, before transitioning to the civil arena.

Over the course of her career, Mia has been associated with, and served as of counsel to, established state and national law firms as business, litigation, and media counsel.

As business and litigation counsel, Mia has represented a diverse clientele, including individuals, entrepreneurs, and corporate entities across a wide range of industries such as business, real estate, finance, hospitality, healthcare, entertainment, maritime, and technology.

In her capacity as media counsel, Mia has represented Walt Disney Television and ABC Television, serving as production counsel for daytime syndication and live television programming.

In addition to her legal practice, Mia is a dedicated leader within the legal community. She has served multiple terms as President of the Weston Bar Association, where she has spearheaded initiatives focused on expanding access to legal services and strengthening community engagement. Under her leadership, the Weston Bar Association has developed initiatives providing legal support for victims of human trafficking and promoting legal education in local high schools. Mia regularly organizes accredited seminars, judicial panels, and election forums.

Mia has an untethered passion for mentorship and is deeply committed to the development of the next generation of attorneys. She volunteers annually with the Florida Bar to mentor new lawyers and is actively involved in guiding attorneys and students as they build their legal careers.
